Why shouldn't we try to get our country back?

This evening I've just received an email from one of my friends who found our country, Arakan, in a historical map which you can find below. Please just look at that one and then you will see our neighboring countries were Assam, Pagan and Pegu.

After seeing it, i ask myself why we shouldn't try to get our country back if we have enough qualities of how to govern and rule a country.

Hi Thar Htwee Chay,

Very nice of you to post such topic. I don't think that we don't try to get our lost country back. Look back a little bit! Any attempts for that would include in the revolution process, right? As far as my knowledge goes, since we lost our kingdom to Burman, the revolution has been started by Bo(General) Chun Byan, the pioneer of Arkanese revolution , and the strongest revolutionary movement ever in the history and our descendants are still trying to get it back; many lives have been sacrificed for that already. However, any sign of success of the revolution has not been seen so far and it can be so many reasons behind it; maybe effort is not enough yet, enough activists don't involve in the revolution yet, or we can't establish well-organized National Political Party and Army yet, or Arakanese educated people don't sacrifice for that and so on.
I myself involved in the revolutionary movement for over one year and after realizing that more and more educated Arakanese people are much in demand for our movement, I decided to pursue education.
Nonetheless, having many Arakanese educated people means nothing yet till they come to involve in the movement because there were a lot of educated Arakanese during the British colony. Here, I don't mean that ,in order to get involved in the revolution, we have to fight with arms. Revolution can reign everywhere in diverse ways.
I mean giving one third of each individual life would be a great effort which can move our two-centuries-long revolution ahead.
Anyhow, we should not hurry, take time, reanalyze any work done, discussion, sharing, no too much self-pride etc.
Above all, the most important thing is; if more percent of Arakanese keep strong revolutionary spirit, the spirit would be driven into action. And if the action or movement is strong and well-established enough, we will get our lost nation back.
here I would like say this much;
A people will gain Independence when they deserve it.
But we ought to endeavor to deserve it.
The goal will ever be far away from us until we effort to reach there.
Look forward to your view.
